TECHNOLOGY
We separate core record management from planned AI assistance, so source records can remain the basis for teacher-reviewed reporting.

Local data persistence and change history. This is not a claim about the current production cloud database.
Used in an earlier prototype, distinct from the integrated development build and the unverified live deployment.
Input: structured lesson observations and learning progress records, with data minimization designed into the integration.
Assistance: draft weekly and monthly progress summaries and clear parent-facing reports.
Human review: teachers check drafts against source records, correct them and decide what to communicate.
Evaluation: use synthetic records first to assess factual consistency, unsupported claims and usefulness to teachers.
These are planned integration and evaluation steps. The reviewed integrated build has no Claude or OpenAI API calls. Production cloud storage expansion is also future work.
